Conclusions from the Traffic Commissioners report for 2012/13
The number of O-licences has fallen from 110,067 in 1999/2000 to 80,894 in 2012/13, a drop of 3,178 over the last twelve months. Clearly it has been a tough year for some operators and cutting corners on managing their compliance with drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations may be tempting. This is a false economy and puts the business, driver and public at risk.
Smartanalysis costs as little as 25p per drier per day and can save operators time, money and big headaches in managing compliance. It shows the authorities that you have systems and process in place, leaving the authorities time to focus on the serially and seriously non-compliant.
