Breathalyser fines delayed indefinitely in France
The French Minister of Interior has announced an indefinite delay on the fines for motorists that do not carry a breathalyser kit with them in their vehicle.
Fines of €11 were due to come into effect from 1 March 2013 for all drivers in France found not carrying an approved breathalyser.
Although the law will not be enforced with fines drivers are still required to keep a breathalyser kit in their vehicle whenever travelling in France.
