Following a twelve-month pilot, the DVSA’s Earned Recognition went live on April 24th. Descartes were part of the pilot as a validated systems provider for KPIs relating to tachograph data from Smartanalysis. Earned Recognition scheme is a voluntary scheme for all operators who can demonstrate a strong track record of compliance and adherence to standards. Operators who successfully achieve the Earned Recognition status will benefit from fewer roadside checks and visits from enforcement officers and enables DVSA to focus resources on the seriously and serially non-compliant. The DVSA have now published feedback on Earned Recognition from operators involved in the pilot and this includes two Smartanalysis users, one of which was the first operator to join the pilot and uses Descartes Smartanalysis Earned Recognition KPIs.
