How to renew your SmartAnalysis subscription with SmartCompliance

Your subscription is up for renewal and to save time and money you’ve decided to renew your SmartAnalysis pre-pay subscription online, fantastic!

Here are the quick and simple steps to take when it’s time for you to renew, along with a few answers to frequent asked questions from those who’ve renewed with us in the past.

Step-by-step guide to renewing your tachograph analysis software:

  1. Head to https://smartcompliance.descartes.com/

  2. Login to your SmartCompliance shop account by clicking on ‘My Account’ at the top of the page.

  3. Once signed in click on ‘Shop’ in the top menu and navigate to ‘Buy SmartAnalysis’



  4. Input the number of drivers you wish to renew, along with any additional drivers you want to add to your subscription.
  5. Select the duration of your renewal (this can be from 1 to 5 years)

  6. Fill in the remaining fields including start date, which for renewals will be the date of your subscriptions expiry. (You will have received this in an email prior to expiration)



  7. Click add to basket & continue with the checkout process

  8. You’ve renewed! Thank you for being a loyal customer of Descartes SmartCompliance!

FAQ’s when renewing pre-pay subscriptions for SmartAnalysis

My login isn’t working

The login for the shop and SmartAnalysis portal are separate. Best course of action is to create a new account using the same email address, you can do this here.

If it says you already have an account, when attempting to login click on ‘forgot password’ to request a password reset link sent to the accounts email address.

It’s important to note that this won’t affect your existing login for the portal.

How do I add additional drivers to my subscription?

It’s common to have new drivers come in during the course of a year. With pre-pay you can purchase an additional driver subscription at any time. Simply fill out the form as you would do normally only input the number of additional drivers (e.g. you have 8 drivers and 2 are new – you’d list drivers as 2 with the other 6 on an existing subscription).

These additional drivers will be listed on a separate subscription linked to your account, unless the start date used is the same as your existing subscription.

Where can I find my renewal/ expiry date?

You should have received an email in advance of your subscription expiring with your subscriptions expiry date along with instructions on how to renew. If you haven’t received/ have misplaced the email please contact Rob at [rrowlands@descartes.com] who can provide you with a copy.
