The DVSA's Earned Recognition Pilot inviting road transport operators to share maintenance and tachograph data will help the authorities focus their efforts on non-compliant operators. The DVSA presented details of the Pilot at the 2017 Descartes UK Customer & Partner event held at the Jaguar Experience on 7th November.  Over 100 delegates attended on the day and saw a demonstration of the Earned Recognition tachograph KPIs required by the DVSA that are now available from Descartes Smartanalysis. If you want to learn more about the DVSA Earned Recognition Pilot you can download a copy of their presentation here. From 31 January 2018, the DVSA have said that their examiners will no longer routinely stop vehicles of operators taking part in the Earned Recognition Pilot - saving the operators time and money. DVSA examiners will also be less likely to visit their sites. You can apply to join the Pilot here.
